Dr. S. Omar Ahmad is a Doctor of Occupational Therapy and Stereologer (Ph.D. neuroscientist) practicing in neurorehabilitation and neuroscience since 1995. A Tenured Full Professor and 9th Dan in Judo and Jujitsu, he operates an internationally recognized Katamedo Jujitsu Task Oriented Group providing rehabilitative Occupational Therapy services.

Known as the “Father of American Judo,” O-Sensei Porter founded the WWMAA in 1995 as a non-profit organization dedicated to unifying all martial arts. His vision was to create an organization that recognizes and supports practitioners of every martial art discipline.
Throughout his legendary career, O-Sensei Porter produced over 1,000 national and international medalists and served in leadership positions including Chairman of the U.S. Olympic Judo Committee and President of the U.S. Judo Association.
